GREEN SCHOOLS AWARD – Day of Action for Water
Posted on 13/02/2018 by Ballyroebuck N.S.
As part of our Green Schools Water Programme we will be having a Walk for Water on Thursday, 1st March. The purpose of this walk is to raise awareness about water conservation. We plan for classes 1st to 6th to walk the 3km loop around by Jimmy White’s and the infants to do a shorter loop around the school grounds. We would like parents and the wider community to come along and join us. We hope to dress up in blue to represent water and make water hats and placards. Infant walk to start at 1.30 p.m and 3km walk to start at 1.45 - 2.00 p.m. More information closer to the date.
